The very best in managed IT support from day one
The challenge
Go To Places went to tender for a new IT support provider in 2023. They were looking for a partner that offered more than the basic break/fix approach.
The team were looking to work with an organisation with the right experience, technical abilities and understanding of their business requirements to offer the highest level of IT support. It was also important that the IT partner could add value, delivering the latest technology recommendations to enable Go To Places to achieve their long-term goals.
The solution
Once Go To Places chose us to become their new IT partner we worked on onboarding them as efficiently as possible and ensuring they could access high quality support from day one. From end-user issues to questions about how to use their current systems better, our team was on hand to help.
We have since collaborated with the Go To Places team to equip them for their future remote-first model, upgrading their firewall solution and moving from an on-premise server setup to Microsoft Azure. We have also better aligned their licensing to enable cost efficiencies and reduce wastage via our Microsoft licence renewal review process.
In terms of cybersecurity, we have supported Go To Places with their Cyber Essentials certification renewal and continue to support the team with regular security awareness training.
“The difference between Select Technology and our previous IT support provider is huge! It is such a positive partnership. They’ve helped us understand technology more and provided a level of support, guidance and training on key IT issues that we’ve never had before. It’s been a breath of fresh air.”
