The challenge
Lambert & Foster had been working with a small managed service provider for their IT needs but were looking to increase the level of service and support they were receiving. They wanted to work with a bigger IT company to support their growth and innovation goals but didn’t want to lose the personal service they were used to.
The solution
We stepped in to provide Lambert & Foster with a comprehensive and tailored IT solution that met their current and future needs.
We upgraded the internet lines to three of their sites, switching from their incumbent provider to a faster and more reliable fibre broadband service. We installed a 5G connection for their smaller, fairly remote office in Hythe too, helping to keep their team connected.
We consolidated the team’s email and calendar systems to eliminate previous issues with visibility and collaboration as well as saving business costs for duplicate licences.
We set up new firewalls, anti-spam, and DNS filtering services, making Lambert & Foster more secure and protected from cyber threats. We also set up site-to-site VPNs, allowing the team to access all their files across their sites without any hassle.
We are currently working on a project to migrate all Lambert & Foster files to SharePoint, to enable easy and secure file-sharing and collaboration.
