Byte-sized AI: An extra brain in the room!

By Nick Ellis, AI and Innovation Lead | Published 11 Oct 2024

I’m back for another Byte-sized AI issue, and as promised here are my three things: 😁

  1. Something techy from the news
  2. Something that made me laugh
  3. Something that you can do to improve how you work
Byte-sized Ai: IT consultancy in Kent at its best

Microsoft is rolling out Copilot Pages, which extends AI from a single-user tool to something much bigger. Pages allows you to easily share your AI output with colleagues in a permanent page (meaning you don’t have to keep putting in the same prompt), and it’s editable.

Imagine getting Copilot to do some research for you, sharing that with someone who can edit for style, then they add their own prompted AI of a business case which you can also edit. Suddenly Copilot goes from being a tool you all use to an extra brain in the room.

Find out more about Copilot pages from Microsoft.

I have been watching Ludwig on BBC iPlayer, in which a man impersonates his twin brother who is a police detective. Being urged on by his sister-in-law he points that he is impersonating a police officer and she says yes, but it’s your brother.

Anyway, if you like gentle and amusing murder mystery I definitely recommend Ludwig.

One for people who’ve already got Copilot (or you can do this in ChatGPT I guess…). If you have a meeting coming up and you’re not feeling fully prepared, Copilot can help. Just ask it what questions you should be asking and it will provide!
